Cultural Events

Cultural events in Tunisia are various and well promoted all over the country. Arts and Music festivals are held especially, during the summer period of July-August. The International Festival of Carthage is widely known not only for Tunisians but also for tourists since. Many worldwide famous artists and musicians such as James Brown, Lara Fabien, Julio Iglesias, etc., performed there . The Roman Coliseum is still crowded with its special events. In fact, the symphonic nights has transformed it from “fight club” to “mild club”. Classical drama are also held every year during the Dougga Festival.

In addition to the above activities, Tunisia provide us with other special Saharan events, which take place during the period November-December. These events which feature the life in the desert are sponsored mainly by the Tunisian Office Board.
